Andy - I just sent you the email. For anyone following this thread, I am on windows 8.1 using version f 2.10 DVD.

Just as an update, every so often this happens to me. I find that a full power down/ power up of my laptop does the trick. It seems like sometimes it just needs to reset itself. So yup, try a reboot if you have this happen.
