@mp5802 - Thanks so much for the feedback. We'll be updating some of the features, so I'll pass this on to our developers for future possibilities.

Hello mp5802. I agree with you. I have the same issue with Spain Spanish. But as well FYI, I have listened to the french conversations on Fluenz and believe me it is slower than the speed we speak at in France. Nevertheless a slow down option (like Yabla) should be standard on all the languages¡

YES! I live in a Francophone country (Morocco) and I have never met a person who speaks as quickly as the "actors" in this program. I am an English teacher, and I believe that there is great value in helping learners to be successful with all levels of language learning - reading, writing, speaking and listening. I've reviewed a number of the English teaching recordings that my center uses, and they are all geared to a clearer, more understandable pronunciation (while still speaking at a 'normal' pace). My English learners also complain sometimes that native speakers talk to quickly. But there are times in Fluenz French 4 that I cannot begin to distinguish one word from another, even after listening 5, 10, 15 times. I can only 'get' it when I read the words, and even then there is not always a clear distinction in what is being spoken. I love the program, I think that it is excellent, but I definitely need some help on this issue!

Happy to say you can expect that feature in our new online version coming out in the next couple of months. :)
