Hey Mike. Good to see you posting here. I moved to Germany from the USA a couple months ago. Moving to Wolfsburg soon. I have the advantage of having a German wife but she rarely speaks to me in German :/
I'll check those out when I get a chance

Hello Brandon, I would try to convince your wife to speak german with you as much as possible, and if you have a smartphone download the LEO German - English dictionary app (it's free-- but unfortunately requires internet access, if you have a data plan or always have wifi, that should be no problem). Every time you come across a word thats unfamiliar just type it in and you will get the meaning, pronunciation, gender, plural form etc. If its a verb you will be able to see the conjugation as well as past participles/simple past forms and even example sentences with the word in it. I have learned SO MUCH vocabulary this way!
This app has been very useful for me. When I first got here and was trying to navigate the roads of Germany I had no idea what Umleitung meant, a simple search on the app told me it means "detour" which is obviously a useful word to know.
I will be testing out more (mostly free) resources and will likely write a post on them sometime in the near future.
I am very curious as to how much German you have learned with just two months of living in Germany, just through immersion.
Best of luck
-Mike
