Firstly, you have 4 days to click the link to download the software. Once it has been downloaded, you can always install it at a later day after the 4 days, but we are trying to organize these downloads systematically, which is why we placed the 4 day time frame.
If you choose to upgrade to f3, you can always revert back to f2 if you'd like, however if there are any technical issues with that version, they are no longer going to be supported, meaning that upgrading to f3 will be the solution. In other words, you have and own your discs and are free to use them for as long as your computer will run them. At some point the big operating systems will render the program obsolete. You can always deactivate the f2 and install it on a new computer, provided that your new computer supports the f2 version.
