Hi everyone. I am still struggling with when we are supposed to use "to" with an infinitive and when we don't. A specific example of my question would be when to use "bere" as opposed to "da bere" or "mangiare" as opposed to "da mangiare". I've read the post that someone from Fluenz created on the 17th of March trying to explain this, but honestly I didn't get a lot out of it (not necessarily a reflection on him or her). If someone out there could give me a rule or rhyme or reason behind when we use "da" and when we don't I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
