You are absolutely correct in that we could say "Vas" when talking with friends or family. In such a case, we would say "Mañana, vas a cenar con tus colegas." However, the sentence reads, "Va a cenar con SUS colegas." The reason we use "Va" here is that in the sentence we see "Sus colegas." "Sus" is the plural of the formal possesive, meaning "Your." In other words, formally "Your" is "Su" or "Sus" and informally "Your" is "Tu" or "Tus." So in this case, since we have "SUS colegas," we would say "Va." I hope that helps to clear things up a bit!

That does help and it makes sense to day it like that as well so thank you so much! My boyfriend is mexican and he is learning English actually but he explained it the same way pretty much!
