Hi Gerald, there is no specific rule on this, you can use them interchangeably. The program should accept both options whenever you have to translate "there".

You're right. I just completed a round of flashcards for Lesson 2, Session 3 Italian and on one question it accepted li and la interchangeably and on another question it did not.
