Hi Mike, I am actually tackling three languages at the same time - French, German, and Mandarin. I think that because each comes from a different family of languages, I am finding it pretty easy to study all three. They are so different from one another. It may also help that I already have a fairly solid background in one of them (i.e., French). I can see how studying two Romance languages may be more difficult, though, but, since you have been studying French for quite some time now, you may be able to leverage your French studies in order to learn Spanish.
