You're perfectly right Arty, "que" also means "as", thanks for pointing this out, we'll add this meaning to the word menu asap!
As for what else "que" stands for, it would be hard to make an exhaustive list, since it's a veeery common word used in many kinds of contexts, which is why we come back to it many times along all the levels.
Its main and most common meanings are:
- THAT -to link two phrases together, as in: I think that.../Je pense que...
- THAN or AS -in comparisons, as in: He's taller than me/Il est plus grand que moi, the same hotel as Sandra/Le même hôtel que Sandra
- WHAT -in formal questions, as in: Que voulez-vous?/What do you want? but in Fluenz we use the more common and simple expression "Qu'est-ce que": Qu'est-ce que vous voulez?/What do you want?
