Here there's no "de" in the second case because you only need "de" when "oublier" is followed by another verb, so we'd say:
J'ai oublié de fermer
J'ai oublié mes clés
Je l'ai oublié chez moi/dans l'avion...
For "se souvenir" you always need to use "de", except when there's no object, so we'd say:
Je me suis souvenu de fermer
Je me souviens du numéro
Je m'en souviens très bien...
Verbs followed by prepositions can be hard to retain since each one has its own pattern, so you really have to learn them one by one! Courage and keep up the good work!
