I used the download method. Once you create a log in ID and password, you can use the activation code that Fluenz will send in an email. At that point you are able to download each session onto your hard drive. You won't be streaming and don't have to worry about your internet connection. You can work offline. I work on a Mac laptop so I can not speak to how it works on iPad or smartphone.
