Does the speaker usually vary? I'm doing Spanish, and the speaker is always the same woman. The main focus of that exercise is to just write what you hear without regard to context. If it was part of a dialogue it would be different.

The problem is that the woman is using the correct form for her gender, while the answer expects the masculine. So writing what I hear will never pass.

Hi, I found the phrases "Isabella è arrivata ieri. Sono andato a prenderla" and "Sono andato a prenderla ma lei è arrivata almeno un'ora prima" in sessions 14 and 20, level 4. Are you referring to these sentences? The speaker says "andato", masculine form, so it's correct. After saying "andato" she says "A prenderla", so maybe that "a" before "prenderla" is what is confusing you? Sometimes in Italian we tend to "join" words when speaking, so it sounds a bit as if it's one word: "andatoa prenderla".
