Hi Archie, The release date for the fix is December 3rd. Keep in mind that you can still select Level 5 in the meantime, it just defaults automatically to the Level 4. Give that a try and let me know if that doesn't work for you.

One further question: I am much more interested in conversation, and I find the accents a big nuisance. I have therefore given up on the written exercises. Is it possible to have correct spelling without needing accents?

Yes, you can turn OFF the challenge mode in order to continue without the accents. You'll always need to put the ç in even with that off since it's not considered an accent. That can easily be typed with the semicolon key followed by the letter c ,

Was this fix executed? If so, is there something I should download? My flashcards still default to Italian Level 3 Session 14, no matter what language and level I used last.

This is fixed in development on our end, we just have a bit of a delay on publishing the fix because we are waiting to update a few other things at the same time. I'll be sure to post here once it's ready.
